Weber carburettors

Aldon has been supplying carburettors to its retail, trade and export customers for over 30 years. When carburettors were fitted to every car that was produced, Aldon became the number one distributor for Weber replacement carburettors in the U.K. These were supplied to the general road user at a fraction of the main dealer replacement price. The market for the replacement carburettor is slowing down with the emergence of fuel injection systems now being fitted to all new cars.

However, Weber Performance Carburettors have been supplied to the motorsport and Fast Road enthusiasts for over 30 years and are still going strong. The performance applications are mainly universal fitment, which can be re-jetted to suit most applications, providing there is an inlet manifold to suit the engine. Some performance kits are available for specific cars. These kits will normally include carburettor(s) and inlet manifolds to suit.

The most well-known performance carburettor is the ‘Weber DCOE’. These carburettors can be modified to suit hundreds if not thousands of different specifications. Each jet inside can be changed to get a different combination of fuel and air mixture giving the individual performance for that particular engine.
